We may have been gone for 5 months, but we're back now with a brand new episode! We chat about whatever (a lot) but eventually talk about our Reading Assignment, Catwoman: When In Rome #s 1-6 by Jeph Loeb & Tim Sale, from DC Comics. We also chat about The Flintstones #s 5 &6 from DC Comics, Kamandi Challenge #s 1 & 2 from DC Comics, Low, Manhattan Projects, & Black Science, all from Image Comics, and Cage #s 1-4 from Marvel Comics. Thanks for listening, and it's good to be back!
This is even better than a fax announcing our return.

A Marc-eting genius at CNU thought it would be good to hop on the Captain America: Civil War hype train and do the Civil War series.

Choose a side, listeners!  This week, in honor of the new Captain America film, we tackle the Marvel event of 2006, Civil War!  We talk about Amazing Spider-man #529-531 by J. Michael Stracyznski, the main Civil War series, by Mark Millar, Steve McNiven, and Dexter Vines, the mysterious Illuminati and we talk about the impact Civil War had on the Marvel landscape back in 2006 and beyond.

Marvel's Civil War (2006) starred Captain America, Tony Stark (Iron Man), Spider-man, and all the other Marvel superheroes squaring off to support or oppose a Super-powered Registration Act.

Miscrediting Brian Michael Bendis is this week's unofficial sponsor.

Prepare to be Punished!!!

We take advantage of the Punisher's appearance in Netflix's Daredevil Season 2 by making "Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe" this week's Reading Assignment!  It was written by Punisher Maestro Garth Ennis, and penciled by Dougie Braithwaite and published by Marvel comics.  We then talk about Wolverines #1 and #2 by Charles Soule, Nick Bradshaw and some other dudes, the first Beauty trade paperback by Jeremy Haun, published by Image comics, and Spider-Man/Deadpool #s 2 & 3, put out by Marvel comics, written by Joe Kelly and art by Ed McGuinness.

Meijer brand orange juice is this week's unofficial sponsor.

Tim and Marc get a weird MP3 in the e-mail, which turns out to be from 2011 and is a review of DC's New 52- Batman Volume 1, The Court of Owls by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo!  Weird, right?  The MP3 also contains reviews of the New 52's Detective Comics #s 0-18 by Tony S Daniel, John Layman, Greg Hurwitz, and Jason Fabok, Catwoman #s 1-12, and Harley's Little Black Book #1.

We also discuss the news of DC revamping Hanna Barbara properties in comic book form, Wal-Marts selling trade paperbacks, Tim's crusade to get RC Cola into social media, a letter from #1 fan Kent Wagenschutz, and some Time Master guy in the corner who didn't stop break dancing.

A true whale of a tale.

Tim and Marc reminice about "the gold old days" and talk about Batman #579-581 by Larry Hama and Scott McDaniel. If you're fascinated by orcas, you'll adore this episode.
